Hi everyone! Allow me to try something new here. Well, not really new, but new for me at least. I watched a Tagalog movie recently, something I seldom do I assure you. My nephew recommended it fiercely, even wanted to watch it once more with me. Finally, I did last Friday. It was the latest installment of the Miggy Montenegro and Laida Magtalas saga. I was able to watch the first two already so it’s not as if the story is unfamiliar altogether. Besides, all who watched it told me in more ways than one that this one is really good. As per experience, most movies I watched with stellar recommendation proved otherwise when I finally got around to seeing it. But somehow, I must admit, I had high hopes for this film.

And so, I resolved to watch it last Friday. I checked the schedule and  went to the cinema as early as an hour before the showing. I bought my “baon” and walked through the turnstile going inside the cinema. I was the first person inside and then a few seconds later, a woman came up behind me. We were both “solo flight” for the movie and so we decided to take a seat together. We started chatting about the movie and its predecessors. After a while I realized that I didn’t know her name (I wasn’t excited, not one bit hehehe) and so I introduced myself to her and asked her name.

After 10 minutes or so, the National anthem was upon us and soon the movie started. Let me just warn you that I will not really narrate the story line here. I will, however, describe how the movie made me feel like a review of some sort. I will try to remember some scenes but I do apologize  if I might not be as accurate as I would like to be. So here goes….the first 20 - 30 minutes were funny. I can hear the genuine laughter of the audience all around me. Sarah and John Lloyd’s chemistry onscreen is undeniable. John Lloyd’s reputation as a matinee idol is definitely secure as a bank’s security system with this gig. As for Sarah, her acting has greatly improved. I suppose her real life experience should be credited for the improvement. She was good before, mind you, but with this movie, I can feel depth in her acting. Her comedic timing is also commendable judging from the laughter that she elicited every time she appears on the screen. There were many memorable lines that stayed with me, particularly :

I must say that I loved the story. Its simplicity was what made it appealing. Also, much credit goes to the director, Cathy Garcia Molina. She steered the story well. Some of my favorite scenes include Laida’s breakdown after the New York meeting with Empire Media and she finally  forgave her father for his indiscretion. It was poignant and it moved me to tears (no surprise there since even commercials make me cry like a baby). Surprisingly, I enjoyed this movie in its entirety. No boring scenes and even the script was superb. I must mention that my favorite scene was the proposal at the airport. A close second was the wedding scene (spoiler alert! I won’t apologize though ‘coz if anyone hasn’t seen this yet, I’d say what are you waiting for?!). All in all, it was a great movie experience. It is no wonder that fans are clamoring for a 4th installment. I do not know how they can top this one but I am sure, that it will be a daunting task. Finally, as cliche as it sounds, this film is certifiably in the “feel good” category and one I would not mind watching over and over again.

It’s been a while since I last posted. I would’ve liked to finish the Love Rain episodes but reality interfered. I will give out a brief summary of the two episodes as soon as I find the time to watch them again. Meanwhile, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all during this holiday season. May we all be more patient, generous and considerate of one another. And so once more, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and God Bless us all!!

The choices we make have the potential to affect those we love. As much as we take care not to hurt them, somewhere along the way, we inadvertently do. I have learned that the hurt we might have caused will not signify neither the end nor it will afford us to start anew by saying “sorry”. Because it is just a word and what’s more important is that the sincere effort to make up for what was lost.

Hye Jung was taken aback when she saw Hana. All the exchange about the gardener who was seeing her son came back to her. She couldn’t believe it. Hana was rendered speechless and it only meant that all Hye Jung’s presumption were true. At the resort, Yoon Hee was left with no choice but to tell Joon about her weakening eyesight. She asked Joon not to tell Hana and he was surprised that she already knew about them. Yoon Hee said she only just knew and she took note how Hana seemed different of late which could only mean that she likes Joon a lot. Joon admitted he likes Hana a lot too which made Yoon Hee smile and thanked him for telling her. What a lovely mom Hana has! Haaysst, I can only wish that In Ha picked a better mom for his son. Joon deserved somebody better than that witch of a mom he has. Yoon Hee then reiterated her request that he do not tell Hana. She wanted to tell Hana herself and she needed more time for it. Also she begged him not to tell In Ha, she does not want him to know ever. Reluctantly, Joon nodded in agreement to her wishes. Meanwhile, at the café, Hye Jung was listening to Hana as she narrated how their relationship started and progressed. When she finished, she apologized. Hye Jung asked if her mom knows and Hana replied that she does not. Hye Jung then asked if In Ha knows and when Hana confirmed it, she knew right away that it was the reason In Ha called the wedding off.  At this point, Hye Jung was already fuming mad and she vowed to break up Joon and Hana no matter what. She even dared to warn Hana not to say anything to Joon. Grrrrr, I could just wring this witch’s neck! How dare she?!!  Joon drove straight to the café where he looked intently for Hana. He found her at the rooftop garden. He thought she left already as it took a while for him to get back. She teased him and asked if he had been cheating already. He took the bait and teased her right back mentioning how pretty the girl he saw was. Hana pretended to mope and said it was only their first day back together and yet he was already being mean to her. Joon, upon the mention of it being the first day, asked her what she wanted to do and he will do anything. Hana thought for a moment and Joon seemed to sense that there was something wrong, asked her if there is indeed. Hana immediately said no and suggested that they should just go home early. She further recommended that Joon spend some time with his mom. Joon then thought that Hana just wanted to spend time with her mom and stated he’d drive her home. Hana refused and said she would just take the bus as she wants some time to think. Upon hearing this, Joon said he doesn’t like her thinking and asked that she think of him. Hana smiled and said she can’t help thinking about him anyway. Joon accompanied Hana to the bus station and asked once again if he can’t give her a ride home. Hana firmly said she wanted to be alone for awhile. At that instant, the bus came and Joon was reluctant to let Hana go but Hana gave him a peck on the cheek and reminded him to go straight home. Awwweeee, Hana-ssi, you are catching up finally. It’s about time you show some love to my boy, LOL! Joon was actually worried about Yoon Hee and called up Sun Ho to ask for his help. Sun Ho, nice fellow that he is, suggested his father’s hospital and asked who the patient was but Joon was reluctant to disclose who it is. On the way home, Hana kept thinking about Hye Jung’s outburst earlier. When Joon got home, her mother greeted him and said they needed to talk. She told Joon that she will get help for her alcohol problem. She told him that she loves him and that she does not want Joon to hate her too. And then she dropped a bomb. She requested that he marry Mi Ho. She then described how fond she is of Mi Ho. At this, Joon’s face hardened and declared she should give it up as he will never agree to it. Hana got home and saw her mom watching TV which she does not do often on account of her poor eyesight. She mentioned it to her but Yoon Hee just said that it’s fine and that it was fun to watch. She then asked Hana why she was home when she was supposed to be on a date. She asked if there was something wrong and Hana replied that there was none. Hana reached out and held her mom’s hand. Yoon Hee held Hana’s hand and said that she shouldn’t let her hands become rough while she is dating. She mentioned that at least Hana was pretty but then proceeded to apply some lotion on Hana’s hands and massaged them. Hana hesitated at first but conceded eventually. Hana told her mom she likes that she do this for her and Yoon Hee reminded her that she will not always be by her side to take care of her. Hana replied then, that Yoon Hee seemed to be saying goodbye to her. Mother and daughter have such a nice relationship that Yoon Hee is able to tease Hana that whoever holds her hand must be a happy guy. In turn, Hana smelled the mandarin orange fragrance from the lotion and Yoon Hee teased her once more that she was a gardener indeed. Hana then, saw Yoon Hee’s watch and offered to wind it up for her. Hana is fortunate to have Yoon Hee unlike Joon who got the short end of the stick having to be stuck with Hye Jung as his mom. That woman just makes my blood boil, aisssshhhh!!

Meanwhile, In Ha is back to reminiscing about him and Yoon Hee’s good times as he stares at the watch she gave him. And Joon was about to send a message to Hana when his phone suddenly rang in with a message from her. He of course can’t wait for the next message, so he called her instead. He complained that they don’t seem to talk about themselves even when they are apart and carried on talking about their mothers. The following day, Sun Ho came to the café and saw jun Seol asking him if he was alright seeing as no one was around the day before. Jun Seol said it was fine but as soon as Sun Ho turned his back, he got worried and thought about ghosts as he slept the whole day before but the pots and pans in the kitchen were all washed. Sun Ho overheard him and asked about the ghost but Jun Seol denied it. Just then, Cho Soo and In Sung came out and asked the doctor if he was dumped again. It seems that Sun Ho changes his hairstyle every time he gets dumped and this one was particularly a big change that the two were quite curious about it. Upon hearing them, Jun Seol gave out one of his unsolicited advises and told Sun Ho to give it up since the girl Sun Ho likes cannot live without Joon (can’t you get anymore obvious?! Hehehe) and added that both Sun Ho and Mi Ho should just find somebody else. He emphasized somebody close for Mi Ho (meaning you?) without noticing Cho Soo eavesdropping nearby and at the sound of Mi Ho’s name reacted to Jun Seol’s pronouncement. Hmmm, does Cho Soo have a thing for Mi Ho then? I’d say Mi Ho should be so glad to have these two fighting over her LOL! At that point, Jun Seol seemed to realize the same thing and ran after Cho Soo. Just then, Joon arrived at the café, Sun Ho saw him and approached him with worry in his eyes. Joon asked him if he had told his father, he said yes and Sun Ho appeared anxious. Joon asked if he told his father to keep it from In Ha, Sun Ho said yes and that his father was amenable as well. Meanwhile, at the resort, Yoon Hee suddenly felt unwell in the middle of working. She grabbed a bamboo post nearby without realizing that it was some form of scaffolding and as it moved, a worker fell off. This alarmed her and she apologized profusely to the worker who said he was quite fine. After that incident, she seemed to have come aware of the severity of her situation. Dong Wook, then, put it upon himself to talk to her and went to the resort to do so. He told Yoon Hee that she should have come to him since they were old friends and that his hospital has the best ophthalmologists in the country. Yoon Hee seems to hesitate but he told her that at the very least she should give him that favor making me feel that he was referring to the fact that they once had something too. And so Yoon Hee came to the hospital for more tests with both Sun Ho and Dong Wook standing by. Joon came also and Sun Ho confirmed that Yoon Hee will probably go blind but they could hold it off for a while longer. He asked about Hana and suggested that they should check and find cure abroad too and to this Joon agreed. As Yoon Hee came out of the testing area after being administered eye drops, she was warned that her vision could be blurry for a while. As she was walking, a hand reached out to her and Joon’s face soon came into focus. They sat in one of the hospital’s pocket gardens and Joon apologized for telling Dong Wook and Sun Ho. He reasoned that he just wanted the best treatment for her. Yoon Hee replied that she knows and even thanked him. Joon asked then that Yoon Hee tell Hana since she obviously deserves to know and besides, he wanted to cease lying to her. Yoon Hee replied that she may seem selfish but she wants to see Hana’s smiles more often and for that to happen, it would be better for her not knowing about it. Joon seemed about to say something but Yoon Hee immediately asked if she at least can do that. Joon responded that it would be lonely for her to go through all of it alone. Joon was left with all these these to ponder and appears to be trying to decide on what best to do. Meanwhile, his father heartbroken as he is cancelled all his exhibitions citing that he is not able to work at the moment. Hana, on the other hand, got a call from Hye Jung and instructed her to come to her house. As Hana arrived, Mi Ho was actually already there and appears to be getting chummy with Hye Jung. Blast this witch, what now?!! Mi Ho was quite surprised to see Hana there and Hye Jung said she asked her to come. She said Mi Ho would not have agreed if she knew so Hye Jung deliberately did not tell her. Just then, Hana’s phone rang. It was Joon and Hye Jung instructed her to answer it. He asked where she is and she answered that she can’t talk. He told her he was on his way to her and she said she will talk to him later. Joon was actually on their driveway, he was muttering to himself wondering about her behavior as he was parking. Hana urged Hye Jung to say what she wanted to say and she told her that there is no way she will ever accept Hana and Joon’s relationship and with that she told Hana to back off. She further emphasized that it was Yoon Hee’s fault that Joon and Hye Jung do not have a better relationship. She also mentioned that if she had to fight all four of them, it would be like going through all that she had gone through before. Finally she just told Hana to back off and Hana responded initially by apologizing to her for the hurt she experienced. But then, Hana said she made a promise with Joon. A promise that whatever happens she will consider his feelings first and that she was sorry but she is not doing as Hye Jung asked. You go girl! Tell her indeed! Take that you witch! Upon hearing this, Hye Jung started to get indignant and began screaming at Hana. It was at this point that Joon found them. He asked what Hye Jung was doing and she immediately started berating Hana. Joon grabbed Hana and began walking out while Hye Jung yelled at them to stop. Outside, Hana tried to reason with Joon but he got angry and told her that she didn’t know what his mom is capable of and commanded her to get in the car. Mi Ho tried going after them but they already sped off and Hye Jung was left anxious about this turn of events. Well, what can I say? Karma is a b**ch and it just bit you’re a** off LOL!

As they sped away, the silence in the car was deafening for Hana. She began talking and Joon hurriedly parked the car in a nearby slot and got out rather furious. She followed and asked him to stop being angry. He replied fuming and asked her if she was stupid. It was clear to Joon that Hana did not have to endure his mother berating her and is frustrated that she doesn’t seem to mind it. He told her she was incapable of handling his mother. She responded that she doe not have a choice since she called her and she didn’t tell him because he was sure to fight with his mom. Joon replied that it was his business fighting with his mom. Hana insisted that she wanted to go anyways so even if she calls again, she will continue to go to her. She then said that they should probably talk about it later and walked away. Joon was left just staring at her back. Meanwhile, at the café, Jun Seol and Cho Soo were talking in the garden. Jun Seol asked Cho Soo about his crushes and he replied he had so many. Jun Seol replied that he too had quite a number of women in his life, counting off most his female relatives. He then disclosed that he is feeling rather peculiar these past few days. He described how his heart is racing and how he can’t seem to stop thinking about a certain girl. Cho Soo guessed it was Mi Ho. Jun Seol asked how he knew; Cho Soo replied that it was obvious as he kept talking about her. They both soon started enumerating both Mi Ho’s good and bad qualities. Just then, she arrived at the café and overheard the two. Mi Ho asked who they were talking about mentioning that she hates those qualities in a person. Cho Soo and Jun Seol just smiled. As Sun Ho arrived at the café, he found Mi Ho waiting for him. She disclosed to Sun Ho that she is sure to be in trouble with Joon. He asked why and she old him Joon found them in hye Jung’s house. She felt worried but insisted that it was Hana who is at fault and she can understand Hye Jung. Of course, birds of the same feather flock together, LOL! Sun Ho instantly became concerned about Hana and ordered Mi Ho to apologize to her to which she refused indignantly and firmly announced that she was in Hye Jung’s side. Poor Mi Ho, not exactly the brightest aren’t you? Why can’t you be like your cutie of a brother? Sometimes I can’t believe you two are siblings. Sun Ho, knowing all that happened and despite a promise he made to himself, sent Hana a message. He then called her so they can video chat. Hana noticed his new hairstyle and he asked Hana how she is. Hana noticed he was quite serious and he complimented her saying she has a pretty smile, to which Hana just smiled a bit more. When Hana arrived at the resort, she found the flowers she planted being moved and her colleague told her that there was a request for it. Unknowingly, she was being observed by Tae Sung and his mom who happens to be the Chairman of the Board of the resorts foundation. She approached Hana and Tae Sung introduced them. She requested that Hana tour her on the new wing being built in the arboretum. She agreed quite reluctantly as she does not feel confident she can pull it off. Tae Sung urged her and she gave a brief history of what they were doing for the new wing. As they walked along the way, Joon arrived at the resort. And when they were at the arboretum, the manager took over for Hana. Tae Sung then admitted that she was her mother and that she came to see Hana. She was surprised. Just then, she saw Joon and the chairman suddenly called to her. She asked that they continue on and Tae Sung said Hana seems tired and since the area is quite large, they can use the golf carts to get around. Hana insisted she was ok when his mom asked if she was tired but Tae Sung prevailed. Joon witnessed all this and decided to just leave seeing as she was busy. The chairman soon left and Hana was anxious to leave too so she started to when Tae Sung caught up with her and began talking about his grandfather starting the arboretum and his mom liking the idea that she works there. Hana was feeling uneasy and asked why his mom would want to see her. Tae Sung said that she knew that he liked Hana and added that he really wants to get involve in her life. He further stated that he felt that she made her decision in a hurry and it was not that he was being stubborn but that he was just giving her options. I’m afraid you’re too late and I’d appreciate it if you do not push it anymore, aiiisssshhh!! Hana then made it clear that she will not break up with Joon regardless of Tae Sung’s opinion over her decision, she apologized to him and walked away. As Hana was walking towards her house, she saw Joon walking towards her. She asked if he had been waiting and he nodded. She told him if she only knew she would have gone home sooner. He then apologized for how his mom is harassing Hana. Yoon Hee, on the other hand, remembered how Dong Wook encouraged her to let In Ha know about her illness. Chang Mo and Dong Wook then visited In Ha and brought food and drinks for a drinking session. Chang Mo seems to oppose In Ha’s decision to sacrifice for the sake of Joon and Hana. Dong Wook agrees with In Ha stating that no parent can endure watching his child’s pain. And In Ha says that had Yoon Hee known first, she would do the same thing. At the mention of Yoon Hee, Dong Wook started to say something but held back. He made a toast instead.

At the resort, Joon and Hana settled on a bench. Joon asked if Hana was hungry and that they should probably go and have dinner. Hana was quite content where she is and said they’d better stay for just a bit longer. Joon was pleased hearing it as he feels quite content too and said he likes feeling like they were just the two people there. He then asked why Tae Sung’s mom wanted to see Hana. She just replied that the chairman wanted to see the arboretum and so came to see her too. She complained that Hye Jung likes Mi Ho and the two of them look like they are mother and daughter. He replied that both Mi Ho and Sun Ho are family friends and that is why they are comfortable with each other. Hana then sulked that Mi Ho had so much in common with Joon. He countered that they have a lot in common too. When Hana asked what was it that they have in common? He replied that they are both impatient and gets jealous easily. Joon then asked if she has to live in the resort noting that she must see Tae Sung everyday. She made a request if Joon can stop working with Mi Ho. Joon surprisingly, agreed. Hana then reminded him not to fight with his mom. And Joon simply stated that whatever happens, they will face it head on and not run away. When he arrived back at his house, his mom was in bed with an IV drip. He pleaded with his mom to just let it go and accept them but Hye Jung was adamant. She told Joon that he has no idea what she went through because of Yoon Hee. And now Joon is making her go through all of it again. She does not want to lose him but she will do anything to break him and Hana apart. Aiisssshhh! How stubborn can you get?! Hye Jung had Yoon Hee checked and came to know about her illness. She met up with Hana once again to ask her to break up with Joon. When Hana told her she cannot do as she wishes, she told her about Yoon Hee’s illness. Hana was stunned when Hye Jung continued and told her that Yoon Hee will go blind in a year. Hye Jung then reiterated her wish and this time told Hana that it was for her, Yoon Hee and In Ha. I cannot believe the nerve of this woman! She had the gall to request that in behalf of them when she is the only one who wishes it. Yoon Hee and In Ha will never wish that for their children. I am saying this again, how selfish can you get Hye Jung?!! Grrrrr, how can you look yourself in the mirror and call yourself a mother?!! Once again she asked Hana to let go of Joon but Hana’s mind was somewhere else. She ran out of the restaurant with tears in her eyes. Hye Jung was not contented and did not stop as she then proceeded to go to In Ha’s place. She vilified In Ha for his sacrifice and told him to marry Yoon Hee instead, and she went on to say that she will never accept Joon and Hana. At first, In Ha apologized but then he told Hye Jung to leave the two alone. As expected Hye Jung became more determined to break up Hana and Joon. In Ha then went to Joon’s studio as he was worried knowing that Hye Jung found out about them. He told Joon and Joon assured him that they were fine. Joon asked how In Ha was and he answered that he was okay too and said that if ever Joon and Hana needs help, he will be there for them. Joon looked rather guilty knowing about Yoon Hee’s condition. Finally he decided to tell In Ha about it. He started to tell him that he wanted to be fair after all that In Ha sacrificed for them. He was afraid that they might have to give up which is why he was avoiding In Ha. When Joon at last said that Yoon Hee will have to go blind, In Ha’s face registered shock mixed with grief. Hana came back to the resort looking for her mom. She was told that Yoon Hee went to the hospital and Hana asked which and found out it was Dong Wook’s hospital. Just then, Yoon Hee came out of the consultation room and the nurse noted that Joon wasn’t there mistaking him as her son. Yoon Hee told her Joon was not her son and then the nurse informed her that he was there and wished them a safe trip home. A hand reached out to her and she began thanking Joon only to hear In Ha’s voice instead. She turned and In Ha’s face came into focus. Joon found them staring at one another. Just then, Hana came and Joon uttered her name. Yoon Hee upon hearing it looked to find her daughter crying. Hana then approached and hugged her mom. Now, all four of are in the same room quite at a loss of what fate awaits them.

Love is one of the most wonderful experiences known to man. We as a race may have never existed without it. Within its grasp, it has the power to bring out the best and worst in us.

Perhaps the happiest feeling one can ever experience is to know that the one person you care about feels the same way. Hearing Hana say that she wants to be with him, Joon smiled and hugged her. Joon knew he wanted to spend more time with her and so they went to the country side where they will be able to spend some time alone without any intrusion. Meanwhile, Hye Jung came to the resort to talk to Yoon Hee and instead, she found In Ha there too. In Ha went straight to the resort upon arrival from New York. He wanted to know how Yoon Hee is and to ask if she has already told Joon and Hana about the wedding being cancelled. Hye Jung wanted to verify it and why has it anything to do with Joon. Well, as you know, last episode Mi Ho slipped and said it must be because of Joon that the wedding was off. She did recover and just told Hye Jung that Joon was against the marriage. But Hye Jung still seemed to suspect something else. Damn that woman for being nosy! Why can’t she just mind her own business, grrrrr!! She has the gall to ask Yoon Hee why she caused her suffering for 30 years. Is she serious?? She was the one who can’t get over In Ha in the first place, aiiiisssssshhh!! I wanted to hug Yoon Hee when she said it was none of her business why they decided to cancel the wedding and that she was no longer welcome to meddle in her affairs. Yoon Hee’s compassion is evident when she said she hoped they can be friends again someday. Hye Jung then told In Ha that they still need to talk. She wanted to satisfy her curiosity regarding Joon’s involvement in In Ha and Yoon Hee’s break up. In Ha was not about to tell her and even warned her to stop being obsessed about it. Hi-five goes to In Ha for telling Hye Jung to her face how selfish she is. Yey! And Hye Jung had the gall to question In Ha getting concerned regarding Joon. Good thing that In Ha told her that he won’t stand by anymore while Hye Jung does decisions for Joon on her own. Take that, you selfish witch! Meanwhile, Joon and Hana went and checked in a hotel in the countryside. Joon, wanting this time to be away from all the drama they’ve been through, told Hana that they should just think about each other for a while. They played around and went to the market to buy provisions and clothes as they just left without bringing anything. A woman selling different kinds of kimchi (I think) asked them if they are newlyweds and Hana hesitated but Joon quickly said they were which prompted the lady to say that they look good together. I don’t quite understand how Hana can feel a little worried about appearing like newly weds when most of my ECI sisters are debating that they better end up together or else, PD Yoon will definitely not hear the end of it. At this point, I don’t want this bubble to burst yet either so Hana dear, just relax, ahrasso?! It was good that Joon was there to convince her otherwise. That’s my boy! He even cooked for her. Ohhh Hana, do you know that you are the envy of Eels everywhere? What they wouldn’t do just to be in your shoes right now? So you better enjoy it while it lasts. And to top it all, Joon just wants to stay in and be able to spend as much time as possible. Sigh, what a lucky, lucky girl you are Hana. And Joon surprised her with the ring she thought he threw away. It was in a chain that he was wearing around his neck. He gave it back to her saying that if she decided to stay with him, she can return it to him. Hmmm, what are you waiting for Hana-ssi?

Yoon Hee, realizing the late hour, suddenly asked about Hana and was told that a boy assumed to be her boyfriend looked for her and Hana left with him. As expected, Yoon Hee was quite concerned especially as she was told it wasn’t Tae Sung. She called Hana as she and Joon were having dinner. Joon sensed Hana’s apprehension, urged her to take the call. Hana, knowing full well the situation, lied to her mom about where she is. Yoon Hee seems not to mind it. I guess she trusts Hana enough. And besides, she will know why soon enough. Tae Sung came to see Hana and found Yoon Hee in the house. Yoon Hee seized the opportunity and asked Tae sung if he knows about the guy Hana is seeing. He admitted he knew about it and even they’re breaking up a while back. He asked Yoon Hee to put a stop to it telling Yoon Hee that the guy was inappropriate for Hana. Aisssshhh!! Why did you say that? And you know better? Haayssst, don’t let me add you to my hate list Tae Sung, grrrr!! Yoon Hee became worried and when she asked Tae Sung what kind of person the guy is, he hesitated seemingly realizing that Yoon Hee does not know about Joon. When Tae Sung left, Yoon Hee went to Hana’s room and seeing her camera, browsed through the pictures. And there she saw, Joon and Hana’s picture and she remembered all that Joon said and did. She finally understood why In Ha said he couldn’t let Joon down and she was stunned. All that In Ha’s actions and Hana’s apologizing became clear to her. On the other hand, reality has finally caught up to Joon and Hana. When Hana woke up the following morning, Joon was nowhere so she went out and looked for him. He found him on the bridge which has the same myth as the Diamond Snow in Japan. It was advertised in the brochure that when a man and a woman sees the fog together, they will fall for each other. Joon, sensing Hana beside him, told her that he wanted to see the fog first. He then told her that he doesn’t believe in fate or in the myths either. He wanted to believe that they are together because they look for each other and that he wanted more things to see with Hana. He also told her that he wanted them to stay together and see it through. It was then that Hana, teary eyed and moved, reached out and held Joon’s hand and placed the ring once more in his finger. She told him that she is choosing him and will stay always at his side. At this point, Joon became teary eyed and hugged her and at last, she hugged him back.

Yoon Hee seems to be waiting and she saw Joon and Hana arrive back at the resort. She also saw how Joon touched Hana’s hair and she left. Joon and Hana said goodbye for the meantime. As Hana, walked inside their house, Yoon Hee wasn’t there. I am thinking she deliberately did it so as not to embarrass Hana. As Yoon Hee walked in, she seems to look at Hana in a different light and she didn’t say anything at all. She is really a nice mom, not like the other one who’s so selfish she wants to pull everyone into her miserable web. Speaking of her, she went to the café looking for Joon. She found Jun Seol instead and he introduced himself to her. As Hye Jung asked why he was there, he unwittingly mentioned about replacing Hana as the gardener there. Hye Jung suddenly got interested, at the same time; Sun Ho came and rectified the situation immediately. Just then, Joon came in. She said she brought clothes for him seeing as he didn’t come home but soon enough she asked to see the former gardener. Joon refused and then Hye Jung asked why Joon did not tell her that his father’s wedding was off. She made it clear that In Ha is not inclined to consider her and Joon’s feelings so it’s quite unlikely that In Ha will just give up that easily. How dare she? It’s not like she will consider anyone’s feelings but her own. What a hypocrite?! Hana, overcame with guilt, told her mom where she was but left out the fact that it was Joon that she was with. Yoon Hee thanked her for being honest enough and told Hana she wants to meet him. Hana replied that she will bring him one day to meet her. Yoon Hee also asked Hana not to say sorry since she will always put her first and it is important to her that Hana finds somebody she can love for herself. Hana went to Tae Sung’s office to let him know that he need not be worried about her.  Tae Sung asked if she was with Joon and he cannot help being worried. Hana let him know that she has decided but Tae Sung seems not open to it. He keeps implying that Hana seems to have disregarded her mom. Hana told him that indeed Joon and his happiness are the only things in her mind and that she is letting him know of that. As she was walking out of Tae Sung’s office, she came across Hye Jung and greeted her. Hye Jung, in turn, unpleasantly implied that Hana seems to spend time in Tae Sung’s office to which Hana corrected right away. She reasoned that Tae Sung is her senior and she works for him. Hye Jung confirmed it from Tae Sung and he told Hye Jung that Hana works as a gardener for the arboretum. At the mention of the word gardener, Hye Jung became quite inquisitive. Meanwhile, in Joon’s studio, Mi Ho was observing how Joon suddenly seems different. He was smiling more and she liked it. She approached Joon and asked him why he was in a good mood. Joon suddenly gestured to Charles and Cho Soo thinking they said something. The two gestured back that they haven’t said anything and Mi Ho caught sight of the ring in Joon’s hand. She recognized it and demanded what it meant. Joon just told her that he can’t accept her and she looked upset about it. Another Hye Jung wannabe, aigoo! Yoon Hee went to In Ha’s studio and he was quite embarrassed of his mess. He immediately started cleaning up but Yoon Hee insisted she wanted to do it for him. In Ha went for a walk instead. When he came back, Yoon Hee returned the engagement ring to him. She told him that however short their relationship lasted, he was a great source of comfort for her. But, she changed her mind and that she can’t be friends with him anymore. Whatever happy memories they had should remain just as that, happy memories. And it was enough for her that she was able to love him at least in her life.  She then mentioned that she wants Joon and Hana to stay together through whatever comes their way. In Ha suddenly looked up and wondered aloud how she knew. Yoon Hee said she just found out and that she understood him completely. She even thanked him for giving way to the children and she will always remember him as the perceptive person that he is. I agree with Yoon Hee. In Ha has shown how much he is willing to give up for his child and that in more ways he is showing how a better parent he is than his former wife. Now, if only we can just delete Hye Jung like a mistyped word, haayssst.

As Yoon Hee stepped out of the bus, Hana saw her leaning by the waiting shed. She took note of how sad Yoon Hee seemed and it was evident she felt guilty. Jun Seol went out of the storage shed and heard a girl crying. He investigated and found it was Mi Ho. He approached her and told her of a story about his neighbor and advised that Mi Ho should just let go of Joon. Mi Ho got more upset and appeared to walk out when he mentioned she should wipe the mascara off her face. She had no choice but to go back and clean her face up. Jun Seol told her that Hana was able to reach out and touch Joon’s heart in a way that nobody else has been able to do. He then suggested that since he and Hana are both gardeners, maybe he can do the same to Mi Ho’s heart. At this Mi Ho got so irritated and to top it all he kept trying to touch her that she slapped him with her bag. He acknowledged that he deserved it. Funny Jun Seol, I never imagined him gunning for Mi Ho, LOL! Hana and Joon were talking on the phone and making plans for the next day. Joon asked what Hana wanted to eat and she said she was craving for chocolate but she forgot to get some. He asked why the sudden craving for chocolate. She replied that she had a lot of work done because she missed some when they hid out in the country. She then joked that she wanted some soju and as expected Joon reacted. She took it back immediately and just told him that she wanted the chocolates. Both were quite anxious and decided to go out. Hana called Joon and got into teasing each other as they both found out that the other was outside. And then, they found each other and ended up face to face. Joon held up the shopping bag he had and Hana got so excited that she run towards Joon and hugged him. They told each other how much they missed one another,  Joon even coming to Hana’s place even if her mom was there. Hana said that it was fine and asked Joon if he has called his father. Joon admitted he does not know how he can approach his father though he knows he needs to apologize and thank him. Joon also told Hana how he understands his father more now that he has Hana and she agreed with him as she also is aware that her mother is hurting. Both however, reassured each other that they will stay together no matter what. The following day, Hana went to see In Ha. She brought plants for him and told him that they are easy to maintain as it only takes once a week to water them and that they like sunlight so she suggested he leaves them in a window. In Ha was evidently pleased and Hana proceeded to thank him for his sacrifice for her and Joon. She added that Joon cannot bring himself to come and visit In Ha yet that she went on her way and did it herself. She assured In Ha that Joon is grateful and sorry at the same time; In Ha, in turn, reassured Hana that it was okay and that he can identify with Joon’s feelings. He also thanked her for accepting Joon. He expressed his happiness over Joon and Hana’s relationship. Afterwards, Hana went to the café. Joon called to say that he will be late returning to the café and that she should just wait there and relax for a while. Joon was actually in the resort to see Hana’s mom. When he saw Yoon Hee walking inside the greenhouse, he prepared to go and approach her. He then saw Yoon Hee seemingly about to collapse as her notes slipped from her hands. He instantly run towards her and picked up her notes but then she said thank you and walked away as if she didn’t see him. Joon became puzzled at her behavior. Yoon Hee realized it, turned around and saw Joon’s face came into focus. Hana was checking the plants in the roof top when she heard footsteps; she got eager thinking it was Joon. And when she opened the door quite happy to welcome him, she came face to face with Hye Jung instead. Hye Jung was also surprised to see Hana. Your guess is as good as mine on what happens next. Andwae!!!!

“Love is like a soaring bird that can never be captured; it must know the freedom of flight and if it is meant to be, it will fly back of its own will; more stronger from its flight; more loving from its absence.” I have memorized this quote from the first pocketbook I purchased some 20 years or so ago. It was a Harlequin First Romance and I never fail to summon it from memory when I need it. Now is a perfect time as any. Hana is determined to try and forget Joon. When Joon tried to kiss her, she jerked back and walked away. Joon came running after her and when he found her tried to reason with her. She told him that she is too afraid of her feelings for him that she is choosing to let go of it. She said that they should start seeing other people. Joon was left with tears in his eyes and a heart broken several times over. Surprisingly, Yoon Hee agreed with In Ha in cancelling the wedding. She told him, one of the reasons she loved him is because he is the kind of man that is willing to sacrifice his happiness for those he loves, and she loves him still for that. With tears in their eyes, both accepted what fate has brought upon them. What a parent would not do for his only child? In Ha has shown that he is one good parent for giving up even his last chance at happiness for his only child. Unlike Hye Jung, who chose to use her only child as a pawn for holding on to In Ha. In Ha drowned his sorrows by getting drunk at Chang Mo’s bar while Joon was wandering not knowing where to go. Yoon Hee was left crying, same as Hana as she rode the bus home. Jun Seol interrupted into Sun Ho’s thoughts as he offered advice for what he thought was Sun Ho’s dilemma. Just then Mi Ho arrived looking for Joon. Sun Ho said he was not there and that he thought they were watching a movie. Mi Ho was quite upset thinking out loud that Joon and Hana must be together while Jun Seol kept teasing her that she bit his hand. This guy does not know when to stop being his silly self. It’s not that I am siding with Mi Ho (heaven forbid!), just that I feel sometimes that his humor is off. Hana got home to find Tae Sung waiting for her. He insisted that they talk and he told her that he will take care of her as she seems to forget herself while she takes care of her mom and Joon. She replied that taking care of them is taking care of her. Tae Sung got upset and seemed to order Hana to tell her mom that they are going out. I don’t like that it appears to me now that Tae sung is being adamant on getting his way with Hana. Where was the gentleman I use to know? I expected more from him, hmmmmpp. Hana found her mom in her bedroom and she seemed not well. On the other hand, Chang Mo brought In Ha home since he was already too drunk wondering all the while what happened to In Ha. Hana took care of her mom and seemed to scold Yoon Hee for not going to the hospital and making her scared. She also mentioned that she should not get sick as her wedding will come soon. Yoon Hee then told Hana to take her rest. The following day, Mi Ho came to Joon’s studio seemingly to insist on getting her way again. Joon was clearly not up for it but he conceded, presumably to just shut her up which was quite effective because when Joon asked her, she became speechless. I would love to make her shut up myself, grrrrr! Sun Ho met Hana on a nearby café and asked how her mom was while Mi Ho and Joon are getting ready to go out. Jun Seol saw Mi Ho and called her, at the same time he saw Joon and Mi Ho introduced them. Joon does not seem to remember him either but asked what he was doing there. When he said that he was the gardener, Joon became sensitive. With that, Jun Seol, figured out who Hana is to Joon and blurted out that Sun Ho met up with her. Joon, always so receptive where Hana is concerned, clearly became jealous and walked out, Mi Ho tagging behind him. Joon found them and seeing as they were chatting quite cheerfully went inside the cafe and sat beside them. He demanded why Hana was there when she said herself that they ought not to see each other. Sun Ho tried to explain that he asked Hana something about the garden. But Joon was on a roll and continued being mean to Hana, even deliberately asking her why she is still wearing the ring. Hana became defensive and said it had nothing to do with him. Joon replied never mind since he threw his away, to which Hana started to ask how he can do such a thing. Joon just stated because it was his. Hana couldn’t take it anymore and stood up telling him she will never venture to come near his place again. Joon just responded coldly that he hopes not and walked out (again?) Joon seems so adept at walking out hehehe. Mi Ho and Sun Ho followed Joon while Hana was a distance away from them. Sun Ho was encouraging Joon to talk to Hana and sort it out but he said he has nothing to say anymore and yet when Sun Ho said he will come by Hana’s house, Joon became irritated again. Oh my dear Joon, make up your mind already. It does not help that Mi Ho kept butting in, grrrrr!! I’d love to put a duct tape on her so she shuts up. Hana just wanted to thank Sun Ho and get out of there. Sun Ho sidetracked Joon when he asked why he was going to Hana’s. Joon was quite shocked and suggested they all eat dinner together to which Mi Ho immediately refused. She insisted that it should just be the two of them as agreed and started to walk away. Just then a motorcycle came up and would have hit Mi Ho except that Joon saved her. In the commotion that followed, Hana got backed up against a wall and was hurt. Sun Ho started to ask how Hana is just as Joon saw Hana’s elbow with blood and started to approach her. But Mi Ho took the opportunity to feign being hurt and so Joon was compelled to accompany her to the hospital. I officially hate this girl now! She is such a brat! She eventually told Joon that she was actually fine and rattled on her way into getting him to eat out with her. What a sneaky b***ch! Joon maybe forgiving to you but I am most certainly not, grrrrr!! Sun Ho, meanwhile, cleaned and dressed Hana’s wounds and saw how sad she was. Hana tried to pretend she was fine but Sun Ho explained Joon’s behavior. Not only is this doctor a compassionate one, he is also such a nice friend to both Hana and Joon. He tries so hard to keep them together, awwwweeee! Hana took her leave and on her way out bumped into Jun Seol who recognized her and tried to follow her, Sun Ho was behind him and asked how he knew Hana. Jun Seol, upon learning her name and that she was the gardener was able to piece together the story he heard from Sun Ho. Funny how he was so confident that he was able to figure it out on his own. When Joon came back from eating out with Mi Ho, he found Hana waiting at the café. She spoke and told him that she was feeling angry because he is deliberately being mean to her. Joon once again asked her to run away with him and Hana feeling so overwhelmed just left without saying anything further. With their decision in place, In Ha penned a letter to Yoon Hee and placed the watch he once gave her in a new box. Just then, someone came knocking on the door and it was Joon, dead drunk. It was so sad to watch Joon telling his father how he had to give up Hana so In Ha can have his chance. His anger was seeping through every word he uttered. In Ha tried to explain how he was only trying to keep the love he once had and he never meant to hurt anyone, to which Joon replied that since everybody has been hurt, he has not succeeded. It was moving how it seems that he was seeing his son for the first time when he tucked him in the bed and touched his hair. One can feel how much as a parent, he is willing to give so much for his child. When he woke up the following morning, In Ha told him about seeing Hana’s picture and asked Joon to take his and Hana’s picture too someday. Joon, thinking it was for the wedding, became upset and told his father that he has no right to ask that favor. In Ha continued saying that he understood how much Joon loved Hana looking at them, still upset, Joon walked out after asking his father to pretend he does not know about them. Before In Ha left for abroad, he went to sees Yoon Hee and returned to her the same watch he gave her years ago. She accepted it and said that she will keep it this time. In Ha also asked for forgiveness for leaving her once again. Yoon Hee replied that “Love means never having to say you’re sorry.” In Ha also gave her a letter as a response to the one she left him when she went to the States. Her tears fell as she read it.  As Yoon Hee, was trying to prepare herself when she does go blind, Hana came up behind her. She asked Yoon Hee why In Ha hasn’t been visiting them and she said he was in New York. She also told Hana she will go see her the following day because she will tell her something. That night, as Joon was standing on the garden, he sent a message to Hana saying he misses her. It took a while before she answered the same back. Joon was getting impatient and when he saw the message, he immediately wrote that they should meet but stopped himself. I smile when watching these scenes. It makes me wish I was still young and experiencing the same giddy feeling. The following day, Joon and Hana found themselves in front of Yoon Hee. She was about to tell them that they have decided to call the wedding off. She wanted them to hear it from her instead of from somebody else and since In Ha was out of the country, she thought it best to tell them both. They have decided to remain as friends. The two were stunned; Joon even asked if it was his father who initiated it. Hana caught up to Joon when he was leaving and found out that In Ha knew about them. They both concluded that it must be the reason, Hana was about to go back to her mom when Joon stopped her saying that Yoon Hee seems to not know anything. Joon urged Hana to stay with him but Hana is caught between her mom and Joon. She can’t seem to decide. Aissshhh!! What you waiting for, girl?! This is your chance; don’t let your parents’ sacrifice go to waste, aigoo!! Come on! Anyways, that night, as Hana and her mom was in the flower house, Yoon Hee was telling Hana about In Ha. Suddenly, Hana cried and apologized to her mother who has no idea about what she was crying about. Hopefully, you’ll know soon enough my dear. Joon kept trying to reach Hana but she kept ignoring his calls. I feel she hasn’t fully reconciled what has happened in her mind. If I was her, I’d probably be so confused too. Even, Jun Seol was already impatient as he seemed tired of seeing Joon in his cell. Meanwhile, In Ha came back from New York and the first person he called is Yoon Hee. On the other hand, Hye Jung came to know that the wedding is off. Mi Ho then came knocking, saying she is there for her fitting. She noticed that Hye Jung seemed quite not herself.  When she asked Hye Jung, she told Mi Ho about the wedding being off. And silly, silly girl blurted out that maybe it was because of Joon. I could’ve cut her awful orange bangs off her little head, grrrrrr!!! It prompted Hye Jung to ask what about Joon. As Joon cannot take the waiting anymore, he cancelled the shoot and went instead to the resort to find Hana. I felt like doing a hi-five with Cho Soo as I watch Joon run into the resort. At the same time, In Ha came and visited Yoon Hee who was experiencing another relapse from her illness. Just then, Hye Jung also came to the resort wanting to know the truth from Yoon Hee. Joon finally found Hana on the bridge and demanded to know why she hasn’t answered any of his calls. Hana said that she does not know what to say and Joon just told her that she just needs to say whatever it is. He asked her once again if she doesn’t have anything to say at all. And finally, she told him she wants to be with him. Aigoo!! The smile from Joon’s face came shining down from my laptop monitor. It doesn’t matter that Hye Jung saw them from afar, maybe she won’t recognize them or better yet if she does, why don’t I just poke her eyes out, LOL!! My heart t skipped a beat seeing Joon hug Hana and hold her hand to run away somewhere. I keep hearing these lines from a song, “These are the moments I’ll remember all my life… after all I’ve waited for, I could not ask for more….”

Love is never easy. To some, it only comes once in a lifetime and therefore, they hold on to it for as long as they can. But what if it was never meant to be? What if fate had a more twisted plan? What if your happiness meant the heartbreak of your only child?

In Ha is now at a loss. He knows about Joon and Hana. In Ha asked for time from Joon but he got angry feeling he was betrayed. He walked away fuming. He went straight to Hana to convince her to stay with him but Hana is determined to keep her mother happy. Hana hugged him and apologized. Joon was hurt and told Hana that his family had been hurting him and so it does not matter if she hurt him as well. As he was walking towards his car, he saw In Ha with what seem to be a gift in his hand. He saw him approached by Yoon Hee and Hana soon joined them. Hana urged In Ha to stay and have tea. In Ha presented the painting to Yoon Hee and they put it up on the wall. Hana prepared the tea, while In Ha stared at her as she set it on the table. He apologized to her which puzzled her. In Ha recovered and Hana left them alone. He began talking to Yoon Hee as if saying goodbye to her. She noticed and he just said nothing is going to happen. Meanwhile Joon found his mother with a drink and she showed him the wedding invitation. Surprisingly, she was quite calm about it even making plans for In Ha’s birthday. When Joon and Hana are left to themselves, all they can think about is each other. When will their longing end? I too cannot wait for the answer. For the meantime, I am left to wonder and sympathize with them. Omo! My heart may not be able to bear it any longer. Meanwhile, Yoon Hee started to make plans for In Ha’s birthday too. She wanted to cook and prepare everything herself while In Ha seems to have forgotten it as he said he does not celebrate birthdays much. In Joon’s studio, Mi Ho insisted that Joon take her on a date (aiisssshhh!! Can’t you take a hint, girl??). I smiled when Cho Soo appeared annoyed with her too as he muttered something. You go buddy, protecting our couple from the clutches of this witch of a girl, hehehe. Joon, hesitated at first but eventually gave in and told Mi Ho to set the date and place. I would’ve gladly wiped that smile off her face, grrrrr. Sun Ho called Hana and learned from her that a party will be held for In Ha’s birthday and he thought of going with his father to which Hana became pleased. Back in the studio, Cho Soo knocked off some pictures off the table and some were of Hana. He started babbling on about how Hana’s pictures make him cry and how good Joon was, he eventually said too much and had Joon screaming at him. As Joon was left alone looking at Hana’s pictures, one can see how sad he was and since it seemed to make him miss her more, he just threw the pictures in the garbage can. For such a young couple, these two have endured so much already. Hopefully all’s well that ends well or else, omo! I cannot imagine, aniyo!

Yoon Hee was cooking for the party the next day when her vision darkened. She thought at first that it might be a black out but eventually realized it was her eyesight. It left her numb and was not able to watch the stove, good thing Hana came and turned the boiling pot off. She found her mother on the sofa seemingly not herself and staring ahead. She roused her up and Yoon Hee came to. Hana was puzzled and asked her Mom if she is ok adding that she will help as soon as she changed, Yoon Hee replied that she is fine. The next day came and Dong Wook and Chang Mo came to Yoon Hee’s house exchanging friendly banter with one another. They saw Yoon Hee’s portrait and talked about how it all started with that. Outside, Yoon Hee, Hana and Sun Ho are setting the table when men came and gave presents from Tae Sung. Hana told them that he wanted to see her but she refused saying she will attend a birthday party. Just as the men were leaving, Joon arrived. In Ha was surprised and Yoon Hee thanked Joon for coming, prompting In Ha to ask if she invited him to which she answered yes. Joon stated that it was a family gathering after all. When all of them were seated, Dong Wook and Chang Mo were oblivious to the awkwardness between Joon and Hana, while Yoon Hee noticed their silence. And since In Ha and Sun Ho knows, they too felt uncomfortable. Chang Mo, bless him, raised a toast for their upcoming nuptial and In Ha’s birthday even mentioning that Joon’s presence was also an added treat. Joon, then, stood up and made a toast too and congratulated his father. In Ha, Hana and Sun Ho was hanging on what he was going to say, their faces betrayed the worry they all feel. Yoon Hee managed to ask Joon if he had a hard time getting to their place. He said he was ok and just that he is quite worried that he would appear to be a party pooper. In Ha urged everyone to eat. It seems to me it was the strangest party. Dong Wook and Chang Mo kept a steady stream of reminiscence of their younger days and also talked about the wedding. Joon was being sarcastic to Hana but she stood her ground. Sun Ho kept deflecting his father and Chang Mo’s teasing about Mi Ho and Joon; Hana and him. Even In Ha tried to stop it asking the two to cut it out. Chang Mo and Dong Wook were puzzled as to In Ha’s behavior observing that he seemed intimidating just then. Joon suddenly spoke stating that his father never liked family gatherings and he was always cold, he also mentioned that he hopes In Ha will change with his upcoming marriage. It surprised everyone and rendered them speechless. As everyone was leaving, Joon came inside to get his jacket and noticed Yoon Hee’s portrait. In Ha came too and started apologizing to him but he walked out. In Ha seems to be apologizing much to him and Hana, Joon must have been so tired listening to it. It just is not enough I guess. At this point, I too am at a loss for whom to root for. This cruel twist of fate is too daunting. Joon saw Hana outside and told her that he can play this game and that they’ll see how this drama will unfold. I have been waiting for exactly that too.

In Ha went somewhere he can be alone with his thoughts for a while. When he came back to the house, Yoon Hee was outside cleaning up. He apologized for how the day went and told her he needs to tell her something. Just then, he noticed the box on the table and Yoon Hee said it was her birthday gift for him. She told him to tell her what the matter was but he refused saying he would rather open the gift first. It was a watch and she was quite self conscious giving it and it was the kind that one needs to wind up. She said she wanted to be the one to wind it up for him when they are together so it need not be tedious for him to do. To this in Ha didn’t know what to do so he delayed telling her what he needed to say; instead he said some really sweet things that made Yoon Hee seem confused. Hana, meanwhile, waited for Joon in his home. She told him that he should stop since he gets hurt the most and she does not want to see him like that. It would be better if they do not see each other and simply avoid meeting as much as they can. But Joon refused, saying he does not want to give up or run away. Hana insisted and Joon suddenly grabbed hold of her and hid behind a post as a car was coming up the drive way. It was his Mom and Mi Ho arriving from a shopping trip together. Just as well as you two sure have a lot in common, hmmmpp. Mi Ho invited herself for a cup of tea which Hye Hung obliged seeing as Joon’s car was there. I’m happy to disappoint you dear coz Joon is enjoying holding Hana and will be driving her home so boo hoo to you, LOL! For the meantime, In Ha and Yoon Hee were left on their own thoughts. Yoon Hee however is having a relapse of her illness (hmmm, not sure what yet exactly) Morning came and Hana found Tae Sung having his breakfast on their dining table. Both Yoon Hee and Hana thanked him for what he sent the day before. As they walk side by side towards the hotel, Tae Sung confided to Hana that he misses gardening and that his job now is not something he enjoys doing. He gave her a movie ticket saying she should watch the movie. She hesitated but Tae Sung insisted and even told her she can go with a friend. Mi Ho suddenly appeared and told Hana that they seem to be well suited with each other. Hana asked why she was there (to annoy me, perhaps. Grrrrr!!). And Mi Ho replied she had additional photo shoots and as Hana was cautious looking to see if Joon was there, Mi Ho said he was not there. She told Hana they need to talk. Mi Ho basically, just wanted to tell Hana that she is happy Joon will be having a sister so now she can go out with him (Yeah right! You wish!) Moving on, in the café, Jun Seol is bugging Sun Ho to let him stay there and give him a job since Joon is quite hard to get hold off. They tried to let him wash the dishes, but he broke the glasses. In the studio, Cho Soo gave him the simple task of cutting the pictures but he cut into the faces instead. Finally, Sun Ho gave him the gardener job as he seems to be best suited for it. Cho Soo was left to clean the mess Jun Seol made, and he saw Hana’s pictures in the garbage can. He got the sinister idea of putting Hana’s pictures up in Joon’s room (Nice move hehehe) As In Ha was walking; he called Yoon Hee who was in the hospital. He said he’d come later to the house to see her wearing the wedding dress. When he hanged up, he saw Joon’s studio nearby. He went into his room and saw Hana’s pictures. Yoon Hee on other hand learned that her illness progressed and she has about 6 months to a year to go blind. How does one cope with that? She has kept her illness from Hana and In Ha. How then would this affect everyone? So many questions and the answers are nowhere near. In the meantime, Hana went to the cinema alone. Suddenly, Tae Sung showed up and told her she was quite gullible thinking he would let her see the movie alone. Hana pretended to get annoyed and Tae Sung got snacks for them. Inside the theater, Hana was distracted and the movie doesn’t seem to cheer her up at all. Her mind seemed so far away from it. Her mom, Yoon Hee, is trying on her wedding dress with help from a colleague and just as promised, In Ha came and he saw her walk out of the room looking so lovely in her wedding garb. They both stared at each other with tears in their eyes. At the cinema, Tae Sung and Hana came out of the movie theater just as Joon and Mi Ho were there picking what to see. Hmmmm, I am thinking that Mi Ho must have staged this since she seem to be waiting for them coz she kept looking up. Remember she knows that Hana is going to see the movie. She saw the tickets herself. Aissshhh!! And now she is pretending to have seen Hana and Tae Sung accidentally. This girl just irks me, grrrrr! At the house, both In Ha and Yoon Hee started to say something.  Joon and Hana, on the other hand, are preoccupied with their own thoughts. Both must be feeling that it is more difficult breaking up. Both walked out on each other’s dates. Joon was the first to saw Hana walking alone and he started following her. And when he reached her, he grabbed her arm and led her outside. In Ha, just then, told Yoon Hee that he is cancelling their wedding as he cannot give up on Joon. And Joon staring at Hana started to get closer to her and her lips. Kyaaaaa!!! What a cliffhanger?!!! Next episode please, pali!!

Most of us yearn for the kind of love enduring than time itself. To wait for 30 years for someone validates the saying that “Patience is a virtue”. But what if that same love brings pain for one of the most important person in your life?

They promised they will act as strangers next time they meet. And they did meet unexpectedly. Indeed, they tried so hard to pretend but you can see it in their eyes. The pain, the sadness and even the anger were all fusing together. Joon admitted he was uncomfortable and had to walk out, bumping into Yoon Hee on his way. She stopped him and tried convincing him to stay for his father’s sake; even apologizing for all that he has to go through. Joon asked if the love they had for each other is that intense that they can never seem to forget it. Yoon Hee admitted that they were fools because their feelings seemed to strengthen the more they try to put it behind them. As he saw Hana coming up behind her Mom, he told Yoon Hee that they have no idea what he has to go through and continued on. Hana followed him outside and Joon asked why she wanted to be a family when they agreed to be strangers. Hana thanked him for not opposing the marriage and even lied (it’s obvious) that she was happy about what’s happening, reiterating that she wants her Mom to be happy. Joon, honest as he is, admitted that he doesn’t want to be her family and that they should probably avoid awkward moments as what just occurred. He managed to order her to eat more though coz she was too skinny. I cannot help but be heartbroken for this two knowing that they would probably end up like In Ha and Yoon Hee the first time they got together. It is so unfair. History, as bad as this one, shouldn’t be repeated.

As Hana returned to the restaurant, she acted as if nothing happened and managed to finish her food. Sun Ho, good friend that he is, continue to be Hana’s confidant. He seems to be developing some kind of affection for her but he knows Joon is the one Hana wants so he stays just that, a friend. I wish he’ll find somebody nice as him. As with Hana, Sun ho does the same for Joon, whom he saw as he was walking in. Joon admitted that he was arrogant to think that love is easy. He said that if In Ha and Yoon Hee do get married, he and Hana will be considered siblings which mean that in one way or another their lives will intersect. He further admitted that he cannot envision himself loving one person for 30 years and is quite afraid of the possibility of it. Meanwhile, Hye Jung is busy preparing for her fashion show to be held at Tae Sung’s family’s resort. She eventually learned that Tae Sung has a personal connection with Yoon Hee as he disclosed that he is pursuing Hana. And Tae Sung figured out about In Ha and Yoon Hee. He waited for Hana and as she was on her way home, they walked to the bridge and he attempted to cheer her up which I think quite startled Hana as he appears to be so serious all the time. It worked anyway since it made Hana smile at least so I guess it was worth it. The gesture was so out of character that it was funny to watch, Hana thinks so too coz she laughed. He asked Hana if she is still happy about her Mom’s impending marriage and she said yes though her tears are just about ready to fall. Tae Sung reminded her that he can be someone she can count on if it gets tough for her. At Joon’s house, he found Mi Ho cooking with his Mom. Hye Jung said Mi Ho asked her to cook lasagna. Joon made a comment that he hasn’t seen his Mom cooking for quite a while to which she answered that he needs to stop making her out as a bad mother. It’s ‘coz you are, even your son is in agreement with me, hmmmmpp! Anyway, she told him to change so they can eat dinner and when he came back, the table was set for two only. Hye Jung said she ate already so it’ll be just him and Mi Ho, yeah right! I should’ve known. And as they were eating Mi Ho kept bugging Joon to go on a date with her and when Joon refused, she went ahead and told him she will tell his Mom everything. What a sneaky b***ch!!! Excuse me for my French, just that she bugs me too much, grrrrr! She has redeemed herself a bit ‘coz she inadvertently let Joon know where the fashion show is and he immediately knew what his Mom is up to. Joon confronted her and told her he will accompany her and will take the pictures as well even if she said that she will not do anything. Hye Jung then berated mother and daughter and said that Hana is dating TaeSung because he defended Hana. What twisted mind this woman has? She didn’t even realize what effect her words had on Joon. What kind of mother has no inkling of what his son is going through?

The next day came and Joon and Cho Soo went up to the resort. Cho Soo knew that it was where Hana worked and mentioned it. Joon told him not to call Hana or he will be done for. He smirked and muttered that Joon must be happy to see her in case. As preparation for the fashion show started, one of the superiors asked for volunteers and Hana offered to be one. I wanted to say no to spare her from more pain. But as I am only a spectator, I have no say whatsoever. Well if I had the power, I’d just whisk Hye Jung and Mi Ho in a far away place where they can rot for all I care. Moving on, Hana saw Joon as he was giving instructions and then his Mom approached with Tae Sung. Hye Jung was surprised that Joon and Tae sung seem to know each other. Hana, on the other hand was being careful not to be seen by Hye Jung. At the café, Sun Ho was rushing out to get to the fashion show and he noticed that the vines were tied to the fence and wondered who did it. It turns out, Jun Seol did. He slept in the storage room and In Sung saw him tying the vines. He told Jun Seol off but he just insisted he was doing it for his friend’s garden. He even asked for Joon and Sun Ho, In Sung told him they are both out to which he complained that they are hard to get hold off. Back in the resort, In Ha was spending the day with Yoon Hee tending to some plants and talking about their wedding. At the same time, Hana was reluctant to get out to the fashion show area as she saw Joon and his mother are there over seeing the rehearsals. She kept on making a gesture to the supervisor to come and get the plants from her, at which time Joon saw her. In her resolve to stay out of their way, she accidentally bumped into Hye Jung. She apologized and got a scolding from Hye Jung who didn’t notice her face since Hana, seeing it was her, pulled her hat towards her face. Joon was behind her Mom and saw all this happening; he dragged Hana into a room and asked her what she was doing there. Mi Ho, on the other hand saw Hye Jung, she and Sun Ho came up to her and congratulated her. Hye Jung seemed pleased to see Sun Ho and complimented Mi Ho as well. Joon, meanwhile, told Hana to leave and warn her Mom as well since the situation could get ugly if his Mom sees them. He left Hana in the room but Hana caught up to him and thanked him for worrying about her, he replied that it wasn’t her he was worried for but his Mom. Still, she insisted and he told her she must not care whether his Mom’s life will be ruined and they will become families as long as her Mom is happy. He went on to say that he’s glad she is happy. This exchange seemed quite odd to me. Hana seemed oblivious that Joon was being sarcastic to her. Or she knows and she just let him rant. He let her know that he is not happy and that she shouldn’t just smile in front of him. It is so sad to hear Joon being harsh to Hana. I know he was being honest. It just makes me really sad. Just then as he turned around, his Mom was there, and saw them. She approached Joon and Hana and asked who Hana was. She figured out who Hana eventually is and became hysterical; and she also demanded she be thrown out of the premises. Hana, however, reasoned she was working and will leave once she is done. Joon asked his Mom to stop and when she continued making a scene, he dragged Hana away. Sun Ho then, urged Mi Ho to pacify Hye Jung and she did. Joon, feeling frustrated, lashed out at Hana and she just endured it saying she understands. In the end, he apologized and walked away. This scene is quite painful to watch looking at them both trying hard to make sense of who they are and the feelings they have for each other.

The fashion show is about to start and Tae Sung was on his way there when he saw Hana. He approached her and immediately knew that something came up. Hana said he should have told her so she would have avoided Hye Jung and Joon. She was taking her leave when Tae Sung, held her up and had an idea. Meanwhile, Yoon Hee was looking for Hana and when told that she was at the resort, she and In Ha decided to follow her since In Ha wanted to have dinner with her. Tsk, tsk, tsk, bad idea In Ha. Sometimes I wish you have a sixth sense about these things. You seem to always show up at a bad time. At the resort, as the show is about to start, Hye Jung was talking to a VIP with Mi Ho when Joon showed up. After introductions, she warned Joon that she does not want to see Hana or she might forget their agreement. Just then, Tae Sung showed up with Hana in tow. He brought her to the show and Sun Ho saw Hana and greeted her. Joon and Hye Jung, both feeling quite upset, cannot do anything about it, even Charles and Cho Soo were surprised. And the fashion show went without a hitch. Hana kept looking at Joon; Joon concentrated on work; and Hye Jung, well, she took a bow in the end. It is ironic to me that behind that beautiful event, a drama is going on. I may never understand how some of the players mind works, but I can always relate to how so many emotions bubble up inside you once you fall in love and how difficult it is to keep it. As In Ha and Yoon Hee were on their way to the resort, Yoon Hee admitted to In Ha that she is worried about Hana. She told him that Hana found somebody she really liked and suddenly stopped talking about him. She knew Hana to be cautious and quite easily frightened that it is rather unusual that she wouldn’t talk about him any longer. Oh you guys, come on! You sure have gotten so dense and so into your own world. I am okay with you two finally getting your chance but you two needs to wake up and get a close look at what’s going on, geeez! Just then, Hye Jung came out attending to her guests as they were leaving. Yoon Hee saw her first and stopped, as Hye Jung turned around, she saw In Ha and Yoon Hee. Hana was left alone as Tae Sung greeted several people and she kept on looking back at Joon, just when she was about to approach him, Mi Ho sat beside him and reminded him of their date. Joon caught Hana looking at him and saw Tae Sung talking to her. She, however, lied to Tae Sung and told him she is going to see a friend and immediately turned and saw Sun Ho. She then grabbed Sun Ho and told him that they should go ahead. This exchange was witnessed by Mi Ho and Joon as they were sitting nearby. Mi Ho picked that time to throw a mini tantrum and she bombed. Joon just ignored her and told her to do as she pleases (yey!). Joon was looking for Hana and Sun Ho when his Mom called, commanding him to meet her at once as his father was there and they all need to talk. She never mentioned that Yoon Hee and In Ha were sitting across her. Just as I suspected, she will use Joon as her pawn against In Ha and Yoon Hee. The venom is dripping from her voice as she talks to Yoon Hee and In Ha. The way she ridiculed In Ha for his decision to marry Yoon Hee. At this point, I am quite disappointed in In Ha not defending is decision. About the same time, Sun Ho bought some snacks for him and Hana to eat and was trying to cheer her up. Joon found them sitting on the bench. And Hanna started confiding to Sun Ho how difficult it has been for her. How she is not happy anymore; how she misses Joon and how she regretted not choosing him; and she now wonders if time will be able to heal her. Just then Joon came up to her and said that they should confess everything to their parents.

They found Hye Jung, In Ha and Yoon Hee; and Joon started to say something when Hye Jung interrupted him saying she wants to be first. She then threw water at Yoon Hee’s face to which everyone were stunned. She warned Joon never to see anyone of them again and walked out. In Ha followed Hye Jung only to be told that she will never give up Joon and to forget his wish for a family. Hana tried consoling her mother while Joon apologized but Yoon Hee insisted she was ok and she requested to be alone for a while. The two left and Hana leaned her head on Joon’s shoulder as they caught up with each other. Their tears falling as they apologized to each other and so were my tears. This is too heartbreaking. Breaking up is hard as it is without all these baggage. My poor heart, how much more of this can I take? Meanwhile, at the café, Jun Seol decided to sing for the roses and In Sung got so mad with the noise that he pulled the cable from his electric guitar. Jun Seol complained but In Sung prevailed. Sun Ho and Mi Ho then arrived and Jun Seol saw them. Mi Ho was quite upset and was going to tear the plants from the fence as she knew that Hana planted them but Jun Seol prevented her. She stomped into the café crying and Sun Ho asked who Jun Seol was. Jun Seol introduced himself but mistook Sun Ho to be Joon, Sun Ho remembered him and corrected him by saying he is Sun Ho. He then asked where Jun Seol lived and he pointed to the storage hut to which Sun Ho got surprised. At Hana’s house, the wedding invitation arrived and Yoon Hee though pleased seemed to have reservations as she realized that people are getting hurt already. Hana, though sad as she was, told her to think of herself only and not to worry about anybody else. Dong Wook and Chang Mo pretty much said the same thing to In Ha as they were out drinking. They told him to not mind Hye Jung as they will take care of her or rather Chang Mo will. In Ha took a walk home and it seems a lot is on his mind. Sun Ho waited for Joon as he wanted to give him the wedding invitation. He asked Joon if he is coming and Joon answered no. When morning came, Joon was surprised to see Hana watering the garden. She told him that she just stopped by and also that she will do as her heart says and see him when she misses him. Joon got angry and told her that it is going to be wrong even to think about each other. Hana asked that he stay to be a family with her and he walked out frustrated. It was hard seeing Hana cry as she seems to gradually lose herself with all that drama. Joon went to his father intending to tell him everything. In Ha explained how he has never been able to fully express himself. Joon then told him that he now understand how In Ha feels with his love for Yoon Hee as he himself is in love. In Ha dropped the bomb saying that he knows who it is. Joon was stunned when In Ha said it was Hana that he is talking about. I cannot wait to see the next episode. It was shown already as of this writing but subs have yet to come out. I have to wait a bit longer. I just don’t know if I am up for that. Truly this drama has taken the genre to new heights. Just when you think you have it figured out, it turns and leave you scratching your head.

I am somewhat nervous reviewing this particular episode. My FB news feed was flooded with spoilers. I don’t mind them a bit. In some ways, they helped me to prepare myself for the tears that will surely come with this one.

As In ha and Yoon Hee arrived at the beach where they spent sometime together, Joon decided to stay with Hana as she requested (The opening scene was just nerve wracking, whew!).  Hana is still struggling to find an answer to her questions. She is not about to let go of Joon without a credible enough reason. Joon was feeling frustrated and just checked them in a hotel. He tried deliberately to irritate Hana but he gave up eventually. It seems to me that he was quite worn out. I can just imagine the roller coaster of emotions grappling inside of him. Being in an enclosed environment with Hana must have been unbearable. Proof being the way he just held her hand as they sat side by side. Hana seems to be not quite herself when she just let two strangers came in the room looking for something. It was fortunate that Joon came back in time. Meanwhile, Sun Ho is such an angel preventing his sister from babbling on about Hana to Hye Jung who came looking for Joon at the café. It was a surprise for him that Mi Ho actually figured everything out. She was about to show Hye Jung Hana’s picture but withdrew it after Sun ho prompted her not to. Hmmm, this girl surely has something up her sleeve. She’s not one to give up without a fight. She is much like Hye Jung, an unrelenting thorn in everyone’s side. Cliché as it may be, birds of the same feather do flock together. Morning came, In Ha and Yoon Hee came walking on the beach and in a sudden surge of emotion, In Ha proposed to Yoon Hee. Along the same beach, on the opposite side, Joon and Hana were walking as well. Hana caught sight of her Mom and In Ha, Joon turned to the same direction and indeed, they were there. So he dragged Hana away from them, at the same time In Ha did notice Hana but he dismissed it. As Hana was trying to break out of Joon’s grasp, the truth of it all finally came to her. Joon confirmed her worst fears. Watching that scene, I can imagine Hana’s world came crashing down on her. And she, at last, understood where Joon was coming from.

The gravity of their situation hit Hana hard. The scene in the train is proof and when they got off and Joon called her name, the first teardrop fell off my cheeks. And they came some more when Hana and Joon sat down and talked and she drank her sorrow away; when Joon carried her to the café; and when Joon suggested they just run away together. I kept thinking how good Jang Geun Suk was in that scene. Rarely have I seen an actor cry like that (I am proud to be biased towards JKS but I can assure you that I will never just say those words loosely). I can feel Seo Joon’s burden triple in a short span of time. Poor Joon, his smile came so far in between now, and I miss it. In the meantime, Tae Sung came back looking rather intimidating as he assumes his new post. He learned that Yoon Hee was dismissed and immediately took steps to correct it, even if it involves talking to Seo Joon. And Joon, bless his heart, went to his mother at once to persuade her to retract her request for Yoon Hee’s dismissal in the arboretum. Hye Jung is a business partner of Tae Sung’s family apparently and she pulled rank and got Yoon Hee fired. This woman just gets worse every time. She just gets me boiled up, aiiissssshhh! She is so unfit to be a mother. She just uses Joon as a pawn, grrrrr! Moving on, Joon saw his father on the way out and he told him that he has settled the matter and that to see his mother now might just make it worse.

Sun Ho, bless his heart too, made good on his promise to Hana that he will be someone she can talk to and that he will listen to her problems. It is quite distressing to see Hana distraught, it wasn’t like her. It’s quite sad really specially as she just admitted how much she really likes Joon. My heart just rips for this girl. Tae Sung, just then, called Hana and took her so they can talk to Yoon Hee about giving her, her job back. On the way though, she kept on talking about Joon and worrying about him, I do understand of course (I’m an Eel and not a day goes by that I don’t think of that boy). Tae Sung seemed a little displeased but he let Hana voice out her feelings. Hana’s concern for her mom was evident when she saw her and hugged her. Having cleared the issue, Yoon Hee notices how Hana seems not herself and wanted to know more but then, In Ha came. Hana, seeing her Mom light up as soon as she saw In Ha, managed to put up a brave front. How that came to be, I have no idea. I wouldn’t be able to handle it if it was me. Even In Ha and Yoon Hee noticed her face falling when he told her that he had proposed to Yoon Hee. Aigoo!! It sucks really. I have no other word for it, please excuse me. Hana regained her composure and even congratulated them both and feigned happiness over it.

It was not what it appears to be on the bus home though. She was clearly unhappy and to top it all she saw Joon sitting at the garden. He seemed to be waiting for her. Oh how I miss them being together and annoying each other. Joon hugging Hana and telling her everything will be alright after hearing her childhood woes was such a welcome respite from all the crying we are experiencing with this drama. Wait! Have I heard that right? They are breaking up for good. It seems so. Sigh, just when I thought. Oh well, this isn’t called a melodrama for nothing. Shucks! I am crying again. Anyway, Hana moved out of the café leaving flowers as gifts. Joon saw the guys talking about it and just proceeded upstairs. He must’ve thought that he doesn’t have one but then he turned around and found the pot of Anemone along with a note that says “I will always wish for your happiness”. Waaaa, here I go again. My tears fell down along side Joon’s. Hana moved back in with her mother and caught her reciting a poem to In Ha. It was endearing to see Yoon Hee making like a school girl and bolting out of Hana’s sight. Hana was cool about it, on the other hand. She told her mom, she is happy as long as Yoon Hee is. It prompts me to ask, even if it is at the expense of your happiness? I may want In Ha and Yoon Hee to have their chance but I also want Joon and Hana to end up together. What a complicated world this is?! It is so frustrating. Meanwhile, Tae sung surprised Hana with a breakfast feast. He wanted her to eat as he thought that she was so skinny. Hmmm, I am not quite comfortable with him swimming and being half naked in front of her. Not that it was awful; he sure has the body for it. Just that it seemed quite rude to me. Biases aside, I have always been attracted to skinny guys much like JKS. Even my hubby is skinny although he’s put on some weight nowadays. What’s more is that Tae Sung seems to order her around. It could just be the way he is but I don’t quite like it. Suffice it to say that I will never find somebody else suitable for Hana except Joon and vice versa. So it upsets me that Mi ho found the gall to black mail Joon. That girl must have caught Hye Jung’s bug and thought that she can get away with it. I don’t understand the desperate measures some women do just to get what they want. I’m sorry but I have never been that hopeless and I will never force myself to anyone if they don’t like me,

Enough ranting, Sun Ho and Hana developed an easy going friendship. It seems they can talk to each other about almost anything and Hana seems to enjoy having a sounding board. Even talking to him about Joon just comes naturally.  At last, In Ha staged an elaborate proposal for Yoon Hee. I can’t help but smile watching that scene specially hearing In Ha’s song once again for Yoon Hee.  However, my smile is bound to be short lived. Before that though, I want to say “Daebak!” to Dong Wook and Chang Mo for being such good friends. It was also nice hearing Chang Mo’s voice, seems they were able to cast someone with a good voice as the younger Chang Mo. Speaking of the younger Chang Mo, I’d like to correct Chang Mo’s nephews name from my previous post. I rely much on English subbed version of Love Rain for my reviews and it seems I read his name wrong, it was supposed to be Jun Seol. Mian hamnida. And since we are on Jun Seol, he is one mischievous character. And he seems to just do whatever he feels like doing not minding how others will perceive him. He even managed to force his way into staying at the café without asking permission from Seo Joon. And he seems not so much in favor with those he grew up with as Mi Ho definitely doesn’t remember him. Hmmm, his role in this complicated situation is not really clear as of yet. This we have to wait and see. For now, I am just quite happy to see him torment Mi Ho. On the other hand, Joon and Hana is having a hard time coping and adding to their already fragile emotions is the impending marriage of In Ha and Yoon Hee. In Ha has arranged for everyone to meet without letting each know. I braced myself for this scene. And I was right to do so, it was painful to watch. The look on both Joon and Hana’s faces were just heartbreaking.

Break ups are never easy. I have had my share of them and believe me when I say it sucks. My head is shaking as I am writing this. Wasn’t it just last episode that I look forward to a budding romance?

Now here I am faced with its end. I feel both their pains. And I agree with Joon, what does one do in this situation? It’s like you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. I have grown fond of this couple and just like them, I am at a loss. My heart goes out to Hana, she has no idea as of yet why Joon had to do what he did. It was a good thing Sun Ho was there but even he is not sure how to handle it. And he knows why. I cannot blame In Ha for how he feels. I stand by my previous opinion that now is the time for him and Yoon Hee. They waited too long already. I don’t know what will happen to Joon and Hana but I am hoping for the best. After all, more than In Ha and Yoon Hee, this is their story.

Chang Mo’s doppelganger has finally arrived, Won Suk, his nephew. I have to wait and see what twist he will bring to this drama. Meanwhile, Hye Jung’s claws are coming out. She had Yoon Hee kicked out of the garden resort. I am sure she has more up her selfish sleeves. If I were Yoon Hee, I’d provoke her more. Dang! This lady sure is pulling out the b***ch in me. What is there to lose anyway? Besides she has someone Hye Jung will never have. Hana, on the other hand, is still confused and demands an answer. She is one persistent woman. I admire her courage. It is clear, however, that Joon will hold out the truth as long as he can. He believes it is for the best. I am not sure though (*sigh). He resorts to going back to his player days. The truth is in his eyes though. I am so relieved that Sun Ho is always there to lend a hand to both him and Hana. LOL! Mi Ho finally figured out what’s the connection between Hana and Yoon Hee. Yep, the light bulb is working after all. Just rusty I guess hehehe. Hana didn’t move out. She insisted on staying and doing her work since she has signed a contract. And to top it all, she made it clear to Joon that since she still likes him, he better watch out and prepare for she will annoy him until she recovers.  You go girl! The cheerleader in me is at it again. I guess because I couldn’t have done what she is doing. She is one tough girl, till she cries. Understandably she did a lot of crying in between scenes. And it’s hard to watch, I shed tears along side hers. Same way I did with Joon. I am such a cry baby, I must admit.

Won Suk is hilarious. He thinks Hana likes his music since he caught her crying in one of his band’s street performance. What a comic! He takes after his uncle. And he even called her his soul mate. Whoa! That’s intense. This drama may have advocated falling in love in 3 seconds but I must admit that is an absurd idea. I may have been caught up with this story but to me that is its charm. Whether it is TV drama, movies or novels, they are all figment of man’s imagination and I like to lose myself in them. Just as I love reading, I also love watching Korean dramas precisely because they take me out of my own reality. It’s like a parallel universe. Not to mention this particular universe has JKS in it (*wink). That encounter with Hana after getting drunk is short but it gives insight to how they feel for each other. They may have agreed on breaking up but the fact remains that what they had was as real as it gets. In Ha never fails to add his own brand of tenderness, asking Yoon Hee for her picture. And Tae Sung, he promised that he is not going to let Hana go without a fight and he is now ready to pursue it.

As Yoon He tries to get her life back together without telling In Ha, I see in her an inner strength. But we all know In Ha will surely find out and he did. They decided to take a trip to the beach they once went to. All this time I am quite overwhelmed though, of Joon and Hana. The short but meaningful scenes they have cuts straight to my heart.  Hana as she paints the signage alone, with tears welling up in her eyes. And Joon lifting Hana’s sleeping form, laying her on the bed, and then tears falling down his cheek. Hana tries hard not to lose herself while Joon just gets crankier. Adding to the tense mood is when they found themselves working together for the jeweler who was quite fanatical about Hana being their model. I wish I can just get their problem out of the way. Through all of this, Joon still cannot help himself when it comes to Hana as proven by the way he gives in to her asking him to stay with her at the beach where they took her pictures. It is obvious that he has fallen in love. I want to tell him to just go for it. Omo! Who just got off the bus? Is that In Ha and Yoon Hee? Aigoo! The tides are turning again.

A budding romance is like a butterfly geared up to come out of its cocoon and poised to take flight. It is that delicate. One can always hope that it will strengthen as it takes its journey. I’d like to believe that something as beautiful will not succumbed to the rough course it will surely encounter.

I am in bliss. I love seeing the smile of two people clearly smitten with each other. This is too good to be true and yet my heart cannot and would not accept anything less. Let me, for the time being, bask in the brightness of Joon and Hana’s radiance. Hmmmpp, here comes the three stooges, Cho Soo, Charles and In Sung. I know you mean well guys but please let me enjoy it first. I knew it! Of all people, I never imagined Sun Ho will trigger my fragile emotions. Waaaa! Hearing you say the words I’m afraid to hear just let loose my rebellious tear ducts. Moving on, Joon , displaying a rare glimpse of warmth towards his father, rushed to the hospital and for the first time saw Yoon Hee. I must take note that it appears he does not know what to really make of it. He and his father have been estranged for awhile now.  Suddenly, Hye Jung slapped Yoon Hee as she apologized for retracting on their agreement.  Aissshhhh! My fingers are itching to rip this woman’s hair out but I am going to restrain myself and replicate Joon’s composure. Poor Joon, he can’t help being torn between his parents. No child deserves to be caught up in their parent’s drama. Oh Hana, please be patient. Just give Joon time; he will surely let you know what’s happened. LOL! It’s funny how the tables have turned. The truth is that, I have always been on Joon’s side, LOL! Wasn’t it obvious?! I need to gear up, especially now that I smell something up in the air. That is enough worrying for the meantime. Now that the dynamics have been established, I am wholly captivated by this couple. Joon with his charm on full blast is such a pleasure to watch and Hana with her inexperience makes my heart swell up.  They are turning out to be such a cute and funny couple that one can’t help but protect.

As expected, nothing ever goes the way we want it. And Tae Sung after much reflection, decides he is not about to let Hana be swept away from him. And Joon is not about to let her go. Aigoo! Ottoke?! On the other hand, cheers for Yoon Hee for finally making a stand and choosing to be happy. Sigh…however happy I am feeling about Yoon Hee, I know it is bound not to last long. This is a major deal breaker I am sure for Joon and Hana. That is why I hold on tight to the moments Joon and Hana share. I grasp at it and hold it ever so carefully like a snow that melts as it touches skin. Yoon Hee and Hana too have such good relationship that they are able to talk about their respective relationships. Ideally, this is as it should be. How I wish it would always be. I can understand Joon’s dilemma as it sure is hard for him to see his Mom pining for his Dad. And In Ha, now deciding to be selfish and just stay with Yoon Hee. It sure is a complicated situation. Adding to the already heavy emotion is the reality that Joon is falling in love with Hana. I am having headache thinking about it. Being fair is important as I know they all deserve to be happy but what to do in cases like this? It is without a doubt an unusual a situation as it can get.

Just as I am contemplating about these things, Joon sees Yoon Hee with Hana and then soon after, his father joined them. Oh no!! My tears fell as soon as Joon’s did. The realization hit Joon hard. And my heart just breaks for him. Pali! I need a distraction. Hana decided to cook for Joon and Sun Ho having caught her decided to help her. I could just as easily fall for this guy. Anyone is lucky to have him (I am married by the way *wink*) and with him around is such a comfort and it looks like he has much in common with Hana. Even their dreams are similar. In fairness to him, he always defer to Seo Joon when it comes to Hana. He knows what’s going on and is being sensitive about it. Awwweee! Ladies, watch out for somebody like him. He is definitely a good catch. Joon, on the other hand, is being stubborn but let me just leave him alone for the time being as he is surely confused and frustrated. I’m left with In Ha and Yoon Hee. They have so much catching up to do. I am happy for them and at the same time, sad that what they have is causing so much pain to Joon. I am being selfish only thinking of Joon but Hye Jung put it upon herself to destroy In Ha and Yoon Hee, and she’s been selfish a long time. If she had let go of In Ha years ago, Joon would have had a better time growing up. Her son is just feeding off her negativity. She resents In ha which consequently led to Joon being the same towards his father, thus making her, in my eyes at least, the most selfish one of all. And now that Joon has a chance to finally empathize with his father. She ruins it again. Now Joon is feeling the pressure and is wallowing in alcohol which he is not accustomed to. He got into a fight and left Hana waiting for him. Aissshhh! It’s all messed up. I pity Joon and Hana for they will certainly become the pawn for these horrid circumstances. Not to mention that hearing Yoon Hee telling In Ha what happened to her all these years made me more convinced that this time is truly for them.

Another moment to freeze in time, Joon going home to a dinner especially prepared by Hana and peeking into her room finding her fast asleep. He touched her hair and eventually fell asleep himself.  Sigh, I can just go on like this. Oh please let this go on forever. Sorry, just wishful thinking on my part. Well, I can’t help it, my last wish came true. And it looks like I am rewarded once again, at least for the time being. The changes in Joon’s demeanor are quite obvious. Sun Ho seems to think that he is at last, in love. And he worries too. I know coz we are thinking the same thing. The repercussions will be quite huge and I dare not think about it. Aisshhhh!! Shake it off!!  Oh Sun Ho, you are such an angel.  And very smart too, for once I agree with your brat of a sister, LOL! Omo! In Ha and Hye Jung are fighting when Joon, Mi  Ho and Sun Ho arrived. I feel bad for Joon bearing all that and the knowledge of who the person they are fighting about is. He seems to take comfort in Hana though, seeing her and not telling her what is happening. It shows how much he has indeed changed, putting Hana’s welfare before his own. But the truth remains that he has to make a decision fast. And he did. Oh God! I can feel my heart breaking in a thousand pieces….
